For Debbie

Women have always had strong role models, but, in my mind, what’s far more important is that women have character, integrity and a bit more sense than God gave a goose. Ask any rational person, male or female.

Many women forgive more easily than they forget. That’s a good thing. It’s a sign of a strong survival instinct and well-developed coping mechanisms. We all need these traits, which we acquire as we learn and grow.

Not forgetting is not “holding a grudge.” It’s a simple and necessary survival skill.

Carry on.
